和の心、結びの祈り ―― THE SACRED BOND

The Sacred Sanctuary: A Prayer for the Departed Souls of Children Recently, I feel that many people are letting go of the precious souls (Mitama) entrusted to them by the Divine. In my daily work, I encounter many who carry the silent presence of "Mizuko"—children who could not be born. Each person has their own circumstances—be it youth, economic hardship, or complex relationships. Yet, regardless of the reason, I wish for at least one thing: that you never neglect the memorial offering for these souls. What we call Mizuko Kuyo (memorial services for unborn children) is practiced by very few today. Whether people believe that a soul without a physical body is irrelevant, I cannot understand. However, I often see a common thread among those who repeat this cycle: a lack of prayer or even a lack of concern for these spirits. To them, I speak not just of the spiritual, but of the biological miracle. Before a child is conceived in the mother’s womb (the "Sacred Grove"...

"The Spirit of Harmony, A Prayer of Musubi."

The Spirit of Harmony: A Courageous Union Support and help one another, Continuously filling the gaps where others may falter. Take each other’s hands, hold them tight, Acknowledge your differences, and embrace them with respect. In all things, let gratitude be your first response. Keep your humility, and bow your head in reverence. Have the true courage and honesty To raise your hand and step forward when called. At times, look within and reflect upon yourself, Never forgetting the spirit of service to others. If you bring all things to a close with a heart of joy, Even the flames of anger shall be stilled and find peace. With a prayer for harmony,   Asahi Hanasaki From this land of prayer, I, Asahi Hanasaki, am introducing the "Harmony of Wa" to the whole world.  I am a delivery driver in Japan who also helps protect and maintain a traditional Shinto shrine and Buddhist temple. Balancing these two worlds gives me a unique perspective on modern society. Through my writing, I...

The Stars’ Love for the Water

Gratitude for the Blessing of Water The stars shining in the night sky Are in love with the water, glowing with its light. The ancients knew this truth; Guided by the starlight as their mark, They sought the earth where water springs forth, Sowing various seeds within the Sacred Groves. Do not defile the water; do not stain the water. Strictly forbidding the entry of man, They offered their gratitude and worshipped the water. How precious the water truly is— The very source of human life. How sorrowful it is, that so few remember this today. Water bestows its blessings upon all things, Without pride or competition, flowing with a gentle heart, Yielding itself to follow the path downward. Yet, when necessary, it shall exorcise all; When necessary, it shall purify all. Do not defile it; do not stain it. To defile the water is to wither your own spirit. To stain the water is to turn the very heavens wild. Live with a heart as pure as water; be as humble as the stream. Without resistance, ...

The Yamato people

イメージ
From time immemorial, the Japanese have been a people who support and help each other, always covering for one another’s weaknesses. Our ancestors defined this as mutual aid and built a social structure based on harmony. This is the origin of why Japan is called the nation of "Wa." We have also placed great importance on accepting and respecting each person's individuality. This defines the Yamato people—a nation rooted in the spirit of prayer. With a prayer for peace and harmony, Gassho (With palms joined in prayer) From this land of prayer, I, Asahi Hanasaki, am introducing the "Harmony of Wa" to the whole world.   (この祈りの国から、私、花咲あさひは、「和の調和」を世界中へと紹介しています。) Asahi Hanasaki   I am a delivery driver in Japan who also helps protect and maintain a traditional Shinto shrine and Buddhist temple.
